Connecting Healthcare IT invited to the Berlin Exhibition Centre in April 2017. With more than 9,500 participants and an increase of more than 10 percent over the previous year, Europe’s leading health IT event once again demonstrated the trends in the healthcare industry. The Nevita team has also played its part. In addition to the approaches to solving medical computer science problems, the triage algorithm for decision support convinced the participants and business representatives.
The Nevita team presented its telemedicine system for the first time at CeBIT in Hanover from March 20th to 24th. Already on the first day many curious people in Hall 6 were drawn to find out about the latest trends and innovations. The Nevita booth was also a point of attraction, which made it possible to hold many interesting discussions and establish potential cooperations.
The team was also represented at CeBIT with a publication in the Future Talk. The topic “Low-cost medical infrastructure: triaging as a tool for automated initial assessment” attracted many interested parties and representatives from industry to the podium.
The team also received a top-class visit from Brandenburg’s Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke, who visited the idea factory in Brandenburg two weeks later and exchanged ideas for telemedical care.
With the support of Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie GmbH and HealthCapital Berlin Brandenburg, the Nevita system finds its way onto the international stage in Düsseldorf at the end of 2016. The team was able to show that companies and institutions of all sizes were not only interested in the innovative implementation of the Nevita system, but also appreciated the numerous applications and saw a potential partner in the future EXIST project and team. Further cornerstones and contacts were thereby laid this November at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre.
